My great love for Hard Rock Café developed 2,5 years ago. I was in Barcelona with my friends, when I walked in a Hard Rock Café for the first time in my life, after I heard so much about it everywhere. We actually didn’t eat there, but went only in the shop. From that moment on, after seeing the atmosphere in there I knew, I had to eat there also.
It ‘happened’ one year later in Prague. Twice actually, a couple of weeks apart. The food was just simply amazing! We went there once for dinner and once for cocktails only . The food was so good! I adore it. I had a salad with chicken and a mocktail. The salad was refreshing and a light dish but it was still very much food (which it doesen’t seem like on the picture haha)
The cocktails were really good as well. They looked super delicious and were really fruity. A highlight of the restaurant was the lights hanging from the ceiling shaping a guitar! I drank a Cosmopolitan, which I had for the first time and it wont be my first choice in cocktails in the future, but nevertheless it was quite good. I really like the style of hard rock café, that they play cool music and expecially that the waiters introduce themselves at the beginning and they really make you feel special.
Washington DC, was pretty empty, I don’t know why. But the food again was amazing! I had a medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and a broccoli. It was literally one broccoli, which I find really funny! My boyfriend had a cheese burger with fries and the most amazing dip, which unfortunately I don’t know what it was. For dessert we had a super large Ice Cream bowl, that we weren’t even able to finish.. Again our waitress was so friendly and cared wonderfully for us.
Then me and my best friend went to Berlin. I had the same main course, but a Chocolate Molten Cake for dessert and it was really perfectly baked with molten chocolate in the middle. My best friend had a plate with baked shrimp and fries. We shared a cocktail in a jug. I don’t know the name of it but it was very fruity and delicious, like the rest of our meal!
The most recent visit was in Cologne with another friend. We had booked a boat tour with an included meal at the Hard Rock Café for a really good price! It contained three courses, that we could choose from a smaller menu, not the normal one. We had a salad for starters, a cheeseburger with fries and then a scoop of ice cream. Later we also had a strawberry cocktail, but again I don’t remember what exactley it was. The salad, the Burger and the Cocktail were really good, I didn’t like the ice cream much. For that price we spent together with the boat tour we got such a great value for our money!
So I know Hard Rock Café is a bit more pricy, but for me it is definitely worth every Euro/Dollar! I love the food and the atmosphere so much, I can’t even explain it. And there is no city trip without a Hard Rock Café visit (If there is one!).
I also really want to stay in a Hard Rock Hotel once, as they look super cool and luxurious! Unfortunately they are a bit further away from where I live. You can take a look for yourself here
If you visit Hard Rock Cafés or Hotels frequently I would recommend you to get a reward membership. It is really easy to join and you earn points for every meal, hotel stay and purchase in a shop, which you then can redeem for free nights at one of the hotels, but you also get exclusive offers. Personally I haven’t used the membership much yet, but I’m definitely working on it!
I just now noticed that this post sounds really like advertising, but I promise you, that I don’t get anything for this! And this is really my genuine feeling and love for hard rock café. There hasn’t been any other restaurant chain up to now, that I like so much! So I promise you again, that this is my personal review.
So let me know about your experiences of Hard Rock Café, did you love it as much as I did?
Have a nice evening!
